We supply and install solid and engineered hardwood flooring. Depending on the job’s requirements, we use a variety of installation methods.
Our Methods:
Nail-down Method: The flooring is securely nailed to the subflooring.
Floating Method: This method is most frequently used with engineered flooring in which boards are fastened to each other but not to the concrete or plywood substrate.
Combination: Both methods may be used in certain circumstances over concrete slabs to offer a continuous appearance with other flooring in your space.
Pelican Hardwood Floors installs both unfinished and prefinished flooring in a wide variety of wood species. We also offer a range of finishes, including oil and water-based.

Our refinishing services focus on renewing your hardwood floors. By sanding off dull, worn finishes and/or applying new stains, we transform flooring to a beautiful state.

Free Estimate: We provide no-cost estimates to clients for our refinishing services.
Design Options: Our team shares a variety of stain and finish options with the client to develop a plan for moving forward.
Schedule: We try to accommodate our clients’ needs and schedule our work accordingly.
Refinish: Our team applies our experience and expertise to completely renew your hardwood floors.
We offer a full range of repairs for solid and engineered flooring. From water and fire issues to damage caused by pets and termites, we are ready to help. Our team can also weave new pieces into old flooring to maintain consistency across your space. (This service is usually combined with refinishing to ensure the color and finish match.)
Proper maintenance is absolutely critical to keeping hardwood floors in good condition. We have a variety of different plans and packages designed to make floors last longer and look better.
Pelican Hardwood Floors can supply, install and finish new stair treads and risers for most existing staircases. We can also use material to match or compliment surrounding floors or decor.
Our custom borders and inlays can be installed in a wide variety of complimentary materials. We also install and finish pre-manufactured medallions to keep consistency with surrounding flooring.
